Been watching the CNN series on the 60s. It's meant to give a glimpse of the 60s as if
you were there; well I was there and it wasn't like that at all.
Social change is like that, very different when one is looking back at the period in question.
I remember thinking at the time Gloria Steinem really deep down wanted to be a bunny, enjoyed the compliment of being deemed attractive enough for the job. Looking back at those clips I see she
really was a very capable person, presidential material in fact.
