Years...

I've been really enjoying this TikTok health coach series on Tik Tok.

No matter what the sujet has been eating, he will never say: "Bad girl, that

chocolatine should not be eaten for breakfast". Instead he will say, "You should

have added blueberries and Greek yogurt. You need more fiber!" Because that's

the crux of the matter. For women, anyway, overweight and obesity arise

from under eating, and then falling into a sugar cycle...

From the point of view of the body, sugar is not a food but a product of digestion.

It is already digested food, that portion tht is either used up immediately or sent

to storage. Because eaten sugar is in large quantity, storage it is and one is hungry

again 40 minutes later!

His rule: anything goes food should be no more than 10% of daily calorie intake.

I like that.

As for men, not sure what is going on. I do recall reading how various Kings ie Henry VIII

of England and, later, Louis XVI of France would eat extreme amounts of protein

at one sitting: chicken, fish and so forth. And end up with extreley large middles...

No woman could do that!

I have been motivated to re-think yogurt. The daily yogurt ration I have been forcing

myself to eat for years, for health reasons, might be actually quite useless. Because I

buy the flavored kind. I may just give up on yogurt altogether. Years, I say...
