Dreamy

All that working with Java files on the desktop has led me
to want a more peaceful background, with easier to recognize
icons. So I made myself a custom soft-colored one. Easy, actually:
It consists of an image I like at 40% opacity over a solid-colored
background. Voilà!




Setting up to work with Javafx is jokingly referred to on French blogs as 'le
parcours du combattant' ie, the warrior's journey. Here is an image for that,
from Halo Reach:



And for those thinking of warmer climes, Dreamy:

One is always free to replace any desktop icon one wants to stand out. Only caveat,
the image has to be in the .ico file format. Thus, the java code I am currently working
with on the command line can well be placed here:
