What I like about hydroponic lettuce is that it keeps nicely

in the fridge. Ordinary lettuce, not so much in the summer.

So, I googled the problem and found the solution.

Bought a large leaf lettuce last week, and have been keeping it

fresh by washing, drying and storing the leaves in a sealed

container with a paper towel in the bottom.

Looking forward to making a salads meal later today, suitable for eating

outdoors. 🥬🎉

Made two different salads: one was root veg aka 'potato' salad with a mayo-based

dressing; the other a green salad with sour cream dressing. Too cold to go outside, but

still tasty enough.
