Suggestion

 This piece is interesting, because it takes us back to the beginnings of

fentanyl. A synthetic opioid is such a breakthrough that it might have been better

left to be taken in a form that releases its potency over time, like a patch.

From today's perspective, might we not use it that way again!?


So fentanyl is now what heroin addicts graduate to; the high that is even more

potent. Maybe we should think of it as a three-day patch that makes heroin

withdrawl less difficult, as an aid to detoxification...

The US seized 19 kilograms of Fentanyl at the Canadian border last year. Was there someone 

with these drugs, or were they simply cargo or packages?
