 I have great sympathy for A. Navalny and continue to monitor

the news about his predicament. That said, I am not altogether

comfortable with his approach to things: here's the issue. A lot

of what he and his sympathizers are doing are activities and views 

produced by media and universities in the West, and not the concern

of political parties trying to get elected. Granted, they may feel they are 

operating in something of a vacuum, in an open democracy, parties have

platforms and that's it.
