I've had a difficult time trying to make an adder in qiskit, form code that is 3 years old.
The current version of qiskit works with a different simulator...
So far, I habe been able to represent two integers as 'on' values on to different registers,
The next step should be to add them, using the Fourier transform; essentially translating
the numbers to Fourier amplitudes!
