Rolling-Out

    COPILOT:

This is in line with - in my view - would be a liveable rolling out of tariffs. One announces

25% tariffs on everything as an attention-getter, then one defines, one element at a time what will

in fact be hit by tariffs. Like the most recent announcement that automobiles are gettings a 25% tariff in

April...

Tricky; there will be tariffs on most goods tomorrow, but those on steel and aluminium

won't kick in until March 12, 2025.

Can't help but feel that Canada is being hard done by. There is something fundamentally

fallacious about wanting to redress the balance of trade by country rather

than overall. Like saying one will cut down on buying vegetables and Vodka

 in the same breath!!

Who does the US sell most services to?

On the fentanyl addicion issue, dealers themselves have admitted there will be

fentanyl as long as there is a market for it. In other words, one needs to act on the

drug user to get anywhere. Not a simple proposition in a liberal society...
