Sounds like a biggie to me: The Russian Federation agrees the long-term security of Ukraine

has to be part of the deal...

Trump refrains from escalating pressure on Russia for at least some time — Medvedev - Russian Politics & Diplomacy - TASS

Copilot:

Certainly! Here's the English translation of Dmitry Medvedev's post titled "Meeting in Alaska – First Results":

🗓 Meeting in Alaska

First Results

A full-fledged mechanism for meetings between Russia and the United States at the highest level has been restored. Calm, without ultimatums or threats.

The President of Russia personally and in detail presented to the President of the United States our conditions for ending the conflict in Ukraine.

As a result of an almost three-hour conversation, the head of the White House refrained from escalating pressure on Russia. At least for now.

Importantly: the meeting proved that negotiations are possible without preconditions and can occur simultaneously with the continuation of the Special Military Operation (SVO).

Most importantly: both sides directly placed the responsibility for achieving future results in negotiations to end military actions on Kyiv and Europe.

So what needs to happen next with President Zelensky and Europe. In my humble opinion,

Ukraine has to stop running elections on constitutional issues, because there is no end to that.

Believe me 🤷‍♀️! And this is where Europe needs to step in and define the physical and moral

boundaries going forward!!

We're starting to see where the territories dispute is, not made easier with The Russian

Federation laying claim to spaces it does not control altogether.

I am not being facetious when I  say Europe should help wth these issues. It is an

unknown situation in Norht America. Here people immigrate as nuclear familes,

come to form neighborhoods over generations. There, we have competing ethnic claims

over entire territories, some with hair-rising back stories...
