Sleepwalker

    Woke up in the middle of the night, and my appartment was cool.   And

although it is sunny outside, there is no Heat Warning from Environement Canada

for today.  Wow!!             

Was playing, yesterday, with what a breakthrough towards peace in Ukraine might

look like.  Wishfull thinking, I know.

Apparently, on the ceding territory question, the US has suggested that Israel/Palestine

could be a model where Russia administers territories still earmaked as Ukraine for an

indefinite period.  There are no words. But then, that is what is great about this US 

Administration: they are outside the box...way out. I am not psychorigid either: I would

do things in one context I wouldn't do another!

Here it is, the Peace Plan for Ukraine noboby asked for:

What has to happen (Ukraine). President Zelensky has to free himself from

the obligation to pursue NATO membership. 

What that buys: European countries commit to maintaining peace.

What has to happen(Russian Federation). The Federation leadership agrees to redirect the 

Russian economy from being war and defense centered.

What that buys: The sanctions get lifted. The US Administration cleans that up, and suggests

an economic deal for which only they have the secret. The OECD puts forward the documents

they were too shy to show.

A cease-fire agreement is in place until that gets done. 

What has to happen(the rest of us). We get serious about international trade and start putting

out better numbers, snd frameworks

What that buys: Everybody gets looked after, everywhere...
