Why ‽

 I had a very disconcerting experience yesterday: put a ttk widget

on a page that had ordinary widgets, and then all the code started

to erase itself. Lost the whole page. Still haven't figured out why.

Will be working with ttk widgets for a while:

                                                     

                                                                            

Here it is: another day, another widget. Here two ttk scales. they do

look more current. The idea is to show the value of two currencies with

respect to the USD. Because the latter is the reserve currency, it need not

appear at all;it is always1. I'm actually feeling bad for the large tech companies. (And so is the Stock

Market). Tech reviewers are generally very careful people, and they educate

us about new products more than critique. Below, what that's looking like now.

Apple has been taken to town by everyone; and it is easy enough to guess

how the combination of financial and logistical factors - as well as left over

inventory - has been creating problems for them. And they tend to be the good guys!!
