Google suggested to me that today was Agnes Varda day. She
was a French movie maker, part of the French New Wave. I remember seeing
Cleo de 5 à 7 'by accident' on a Saturday afternoon on television. Movies
played all the time back then, television stations lacked material to fill their
schedules.
I was a young teenager, this was totally unexpected. Film could be art. I still
remember it well.
