CornPud

 I had been considering making this dish for a while; it is something that 

periodically comes up as a yummy holiday sidedish: corn pudding.

The original recipe was from Paula Deen, but that calls for Corn Bread mix,

a product unavailable in Canada. Turns out it is also unavailable in Australia,

and someone published an alternative version with common ingredients.

So I made it.


What to say; yes it is a perfect dish, both sweet and savoury. I found that a

bit unsettling, but hey, why not douse it in Maple Syrup and have it for breakfast...

I baked it for an hour at 325 but covered in aluminum. Came out neither browned

nor burnt.

                                                                   

That's rather good. Might try some wirh cheddar cheese next time. That recipe

makes a lot!!
