 President Biden has taken a bit of a rebuke on the Web for his claim that US-inflation

hasn't risen in July2022. It's at 8.5% over last year. He was right about

one thing, though. there was no month-to-month overall inflation. Gas prices

have fallen precipitately, from 5U$D to 4$ per gallon. but food inflation is at

a record high.

                                                    

Generally speaking, inflation happens at the beginning of the year and levels off later
