Forecast

How interesting: all weather stations are mandated to measure ambient ait temperatures

inside Stevenson screens. The thermometers are protected from the sun, rain an snow but

still exposed to free-flowing air. Very 19th century. which  when this was invented.

Am I complaining?

I do know that given temperatures often 'feel' different. It may be a high of 26 degrees

tomorrow, but that temperature will last less long than it would have in June. We

have so far lost 1 hour and 40 minutes from that hight point of 15 hours and 40 minutes

of 'sunshine' hours per day.

It is now too cold to leave the house in the morning, or after dinner, without a sweater

and proper shoes. The forecast for tomorrow is high of 30 degrees...
