 Similar to the  teleportation protocol is superdense coding. The idea here

is to send 2 qubits of information from 1, again using an entangled bit - ebit -

between Alice and Bob. 

The underlying principle is from Holevo's theorem to the effect that this can only be

accomplished using an ebit.
