A task for PHP, a server-side language for elaborate cases,
which returns requests in htlm. Or a simple re-direct with http,
for the simpler ones. Hmmm!
In the meantime, one can create an app of sorts from a site one likes
on Google Chrome. One goes to the site of choice, opens the tools
panel, and asks for a desktop icon. The cost in megabytes to one's system
