Been reading - and re-reading - a piece in Libération to the effect that veganism
is dangerously wrong-headed. Because agriculture without animals makes no sense:
they are the purveyors of manure, and their grazing shapes the countryside. The alternative
would be, eventually, industrial meat and nutrient poor foods. We need to go back
to a healthier relationship with the animals that provide our food.
