Ah les maths!

Been browsing through various sites, trying to up my
understandng of integration and what it is used for. Paul's Math Notes
is aways a good place to go, but these notes cover three levels
of Calculus courses!!

Here is an interesting find from the theorems from integration:

Will be looking at that tomorrow.

Level three covers double integration.

Been reading about the German mathematician Jacobi, an early student of Gauss.
Riemann might have been one of the few to grasp his work on elliptical curves 
which he used in number theory. What!?

He also solved early a problem in optimization, which today is called
the Hungarian method. It is rather amusing:

Harvard offers a free online course on the applications of integration. If
I don't make it through by Labor Day, I'll log on to this 8-week course.
