Been trying to get the hang of the particle system in Love2d. Obviously,
an important aspect to master if one is doing action games. Below, I've got
the particle system on top of the Love logo image.
The essential parameters for appearance are the colors: the first 4, the initial
ones; the last four, those at arrival. By making the intial opacity 0, the particles
appear out of nowhere. One could have it going the other way...
I've integrated a pause function, on pressing the space bar. I pressed at 30 seconds
in the film and everything had stopped by 36 seconds. (The Lifetime parameter for
the particles is between 2 and 5 seconds!)
It is important to put changes on the update function, before the draw().
